Should Jamaat-e-Islami be banned?

Referred to the Statement of Jamat-e-Islami Central Amir, Syed Munawwar Hasan published in The News International on 19th instant, in which he claimed that “Taliban had not attacked The GHQ rather India and the United States were behind the attack”.

I would like to ask him or any of Jamat-e-Islami Supporters in this regards that, Even after when Top Talibaan Leadership has taken the responsibility of this attack, suddenly Mr. Munawwar Hasan coming up with the arguments like this?

There are several news in the media circle that many arrested Taliban Militants had a direct linked with the JI Head Quarter “Mansora - Lahore” as well as many claim that JI is backing up Militants in SWAT & WAZIRISTAN but Jamat-e-Islam always rejected such a reports.

Now isn’t it crystal clear that Who’s fooling around the “Awam of Pakistan” for the last couple of years?

There may be several Political reasons And by the way who is the beneficiary of these attacks?

1) Destabilizing Political condition of Pakistan so the mid-term election can be called so that they might test the nuts again.
2) Targeting NWFP specially ANP Leadership the most so that the ANP losses his political Power in the region (former MMA Stronghold).

  1. Talibans claim the responsibility of every attack, hard to believe them every time. Attacking on places like GHQ and POF needs strong strategical skills maneuvering. It’s not like so easy without tactical maneuvering that you go, fire the rounds, break in GHQ, kill and run off.

Lat year in August 2008 when POF came under attack — the detained would-be suicide bomber, who identified himself as Hameedullah, revealed some stunning facts about the activities and involvement of proxy Taliban in the tribal areas of Pakistan.

Officials declined to give further details, but it was every where on media about the involvement of NAD and RaW — as briefed by ISPR.

Just this month, on 3rd November, ISPR’s Major-General Athar Abbas at a press briefing said that Pakistan has found concrete evidence of India’s involvement in militancy in South Waziristan.

Last month, 2 Indians on two consecutive days are apprehended by Rangers. As per the Rangers and officials, those two are backed by RaW. Many are caught day-to-day and many such newses are remained inconspicuous on media.

I don’t understand what those two Indians were doing? Selling peanuts or walnuts on a wheeled vehicle? Or they just came for sight seeing in Pakistan?

    PS: I’m apolitical.

PPS: Let me know if you want me to cite the references as well.

  2. I don’t know who is behind these attacks but what I know is the suicide bombers and the culprits caught later belong to religious political parties who have indirect connections with Mansoora as well. If according to Munawwar Hassan US or India is behind attacks in Pakistan it means Jamat e Islami is playing in the hands of US or India since the terrorists have connections with these religious organizations and jamate Islami blames US for doing terrorist activities in Pakistan.

  3. I am not a supporter of Jamaat E Islami, and I dunt know whether they are connected to TTP or not but what I do know is that the US and India are behind the attacks either directly or through the PPP.

Here is a video on Russia Today of Webstar Tarpley who is one of the worlds best scholars on such issues. Here is what he had to say.

he also says a similar things and sights different reasons for it and I think he is right.

  6. Absar Bhai

Yes Infact the news is quite delightful that finally our Honorable Foreign Minister accused india (whatever with the most self-possession mannar) but he never said Talibaan are innocents

In his recent interview to DPA, he said Talibaan are getting financial as well as strategical support from India.

And If you compare Qureshi’s statement with Moulana Munawwar Hasan, you will come to know that Moulana simply defending TTP.
