According to Yahya Hussaini, Younus Khan was available for the AUS TOUR, but Iqbal Qasim said, he did not feature in the domestic tournament and that was the only reason behind his exclusion.

According to this express news paper’s link, Iqbal Qasim said, “Younus has to prove his form and fitness first”, nothing has been said about his UNAVAILABILITY.

But no second thought on his AVAILABILITY as both Yahya and Qasim on SCORE agreed he was available for the tour ..

NOW .. Reason behind his exclusion is that he did not feature in the domestic competition. He has to prove his form and fitness for the selection first. Supposedly it is fine, although Younus was not dropped, he opted out himself citing rest, how inform are Salman Butt, Misbah ul Haq and Shoaib Malik? Why have they been selected for the SQUAD to tour AUSTRALIA?

According to many news papers and news channels, selectors had already made their mind to drop (tailender) Shoaib Malik from the SQUAD as he’d been sucking with the bat ever since, specially in TEST MATCHES, but Captain Mohammad Yousuf and Vice Captain Kamran Akmal came to his rescue. The reason given by Mohammad Yousuf has been, “we’ll make full use of Malik’s experience.”

My questions to Mohammad Yousuf, “Wasn’t Younus worth rescuing than Malik? Why didn’t Malik come to bat at no. 3 even once when Alam, Akmal and Faisal has been made scape goat in the ongoing test series in NZ? Did you support Malik because you never wanted to weaken your GROUP, and in return Malik and fellow team members suggested your name for ODI captaincy as well?
