Happy Birthday Baba.

-

“We are now all Pakistanis–not Baluchis, Pathans, Sindhis, Bengalis, Punjabis and so on–and as Pakistanis we must feet behave and act, and we should be proud to be known as Pakistanis and nothing else.”

Said by the youngest Indian to be called to the bars at the age of 19—Mr Jinnah.

When I think of Mr Jinnah, I think of someone who is larger than life. His passion to fight for the rights of the oppressed is a magnificent inspiration for anyone who has an iota of humanity in him. His life, the sacrifices he made for the people can give great impetus to the courage of any nation in the quest for the freedom. He himself is a role model for anyone craving for making a difference and leaving a mark.

How blessed we are as a nation—we the residents of the land of  Pure- We Pakistanis are blessed to have a leader— We all are blessed to have THE Leader, Mr Jinnah. He was, is the leader who we read in books and watch in movies—perfect in every aspect; a larger than life hero. He was, is determined, iron willed, charismatic, handsome (no wonders Parsi beauty fell for him), intelligent, assertive, thinker, and the list goes on. He was, is everything a leader should be.

He, by his birth on 25th December 1876, gave this day a great significance in the history.

He, by his birth on 25th December 1876, made this day engraved in our hearts.

He may not be with us physically. But he is always going to be with us as the leader. Let’s give “Pakistan Desk” an honor. Let’s wish Baba a very happy birthday.

Happy Birthday Baba.

  5. What a Splendid inscription Abida. You have cited all that which is inside me too. I feel the same for him that he has no match especially in his field. Whatever others want to say or accuse to him though the fact is carved in history that his efforts, great leadership and sacrifices were touched by million of peoples who named him as QUAID-E-AZAM
