Wound treatment through Drip ?


Sheikh Rasheed was rushed to hospital as he received some injuries in his foot. Later, the DHQ doctors clarified that it was not a bullet wound, adding that he is in stable condition.

RAWALPINDI: Awami Muslim League’s chief Shiekh Rasheed Ahmed escaped an apparent attempt on his life here on Monday in which four people were killed and several others were injured, private TV Channels reported. However, he received some injuries in his foot and was shifted to the District Headquarter Hospital for treatment.
Rasheed, who is contesting the by-polls at NA-55 scheduled to be held on February 24, was visiting one of his election offices in Khayaban-e-Sir Syed in the downtown area when unknown armed men targeted him, his personal assistant Javed Qureshi told newsmen via phone. Some unidentified gunmen opened an indiscriminate firing at party’s campaign office of AML, as a result four guards of the AML president Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed were killed and three others were injured including Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed.
Spokesman of the Lal Haveli also informed that during the firing incident, the AML president Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed was also present in the party’s campaign office. Sheikh Rasheed was rushed to hospital as he received some injuries in his foot. Later, the DHQ doctors clarified that it was not a bullet wound, adding that he is in stable condition.
The markets were shut in the area, while hundreds of the people gathered outside the hospital and at the incident site and chanted slogans against the provincial government and the PML-N

But why Sheikh Rasheed being dripped when he’s slightly wounded only ?

    apart from jokes, its a sad act and should be condemned.
    We hope security situation should be improved in Pakistan.

  7. C’mon Doctors inject drips for many other things too, ofcourse it wud have no nexus with wound [Might possible]

    But overall the drip thingy is so naive.
